Donors can make an investment in Miriam’s future by establishing a Named Scholarship Endowment Fund (NSEF). By creating an NSEF, you will provide an ongoing source of revenue that will help our students and families with tuition assistance.
Donors may create an endowment in the form of a named scholarship OR select a particular area of study or Miriam program to fund (restricted). Donors may also establish a general endowment fund to support our broader mission of empowering unique learners (unrestricted). Endowments can be designated by the donor to honor or memorialize a special individual or family.
A Named Scholarship Endowment Fund is established with a minimum gift of $25,000. Under typical circumstances, in accordance with Miriam’s endowment spending policy, this gift will provide approximately $1,250 annually in support, for perpetuity.
NSEFs may be funded over a multi-year payment period, to be arranged with Miriam staff, and may be added to at any time.
The establishment of an NSEF will help make a Miriam education possible for every unique learner with a demonstrated need.
If you are interested in starting an endowment or have any questions, please contact the Development Office at 314.962.6059.
