Miriam Middle School
Join a school community where learning differences aren’t so different.

Designed specifically for students who learn differently, Miriam Middle School focuses on high school readiness, leadership development, study skills and self-advocacy, while continuing the individualized, therapeutic approach that defines Miriam.
This stage of learning is about more than academics. At Miriam, middle school is where students discover how they learn best, how to speak up for their needs, and how to prepare confidently for the expectations of high school.
Miriam Middle School serves students in grades 7-8 at two campuses - Webster Groves and Olivette - offering flexible pathways within one unified middle school experience.

Across both campuses, students benefit from:
- Small, structured classrooms tailored to diverse learning profiles
- Integrated supports including speech, occupational therapy, counseling, and social-emotional coaching
- Explicit instruction in executive functioning, organization, and study skills
- Leadership opportunities that build confidence, voice, and independence
-
A nurturing community where their learning differences are understood and supported
- A strong sense of community and belonging during a critical developmental stage
Miriam Middle School prepares students not just for high school, but for lifelong learning, self-confidence and success. The expansion in fall 2026 to both campuses is not a change in philosophy, but an expansion of opportunity.
Are you ready to see your child thrive in a school designed just for them?
Miriam Middle School is where confidence takes root. In a supportive and structured environment, students learn how they learn, build self-advocacy skills, and grow academically and socially. Your child’s strengths are recognized, nurtured, and celebrated every step of the way.
