Downsizing? Miriam Switching Post welcomes donations of clean, gently-used furniture, art, home décor, collectibles, & antiques. No-contact donation drop-off at our store is welcomed Monday – Saturday from 10-4 in the rear of the building.

Unfortunately, we are unable to take donations of:
Pressed wood furniture (except bookshelves)
Large office furniture
General bedding and bath linens
Soiled or damaged items
Toys (except collectibles)
Pianos and organs
Clothing or footwear
Please be sure to pull up to the Miriam Switching Post donation drop zone, which is marked with pink directional arrows on the pavement to our donation drop off zone. There is a sign with a bell. Ring and someone will be with you shortly.
Drop off furniture donations require advance notice. Please text Bob, our Donations Manager, at (314) 308-2221. PLEASE do not leave donations on the dock after hours. Donations left unattended cannot be used.
All donation drop-offs, large items or small, must utilize the new "designated drop zone" at the rear of store. No donations will be accepted through front door. Simply pull up to the rear loading dock and ring the doorbell on the sign. Please do not come up onto the loading dock. Someone will be with you as quickly as possible.
All smaller donations, especially fragile ones, must be in a sturdy box with flaps that close, or with a lid. Please note that we cannot immediately return the box or bin at the time of donation. Lamps, artwork, and pillows may be placed in a thick trash bag.
