This year’s theme is…. LOST IN SPACE.
One wrong turn at Jupiter and misfiring your spaceship’s hyper drive has left you light-years from Earth. Now you are lost and need help to find your way. The intergalactic team at Miriam’s Summer Fundamentals camps will give you a roadmap to jettison your reading, writing, math, and social/emotional skills to infinity and beyond. Remember to make a sharp right at the Milky Way on your way back, or you may be lost in space forever!

How to apply
Entrance Criteria
Miriam Learning Center camps serve children without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, age, and gender.
All applicants must meet the following entrance criteria for any camp: campers must be independent with toileting, feeding, and clothing maintenance, free of toileting accidents, void of violent or eloping behaviors, able to communicate at a sentence level, and benefit from services within camp ratios. Acceptance is also contingent upon a camper’s ability to learn material and strategies within our intensive, two-week format.
First-time campers, please complete a summer camp application. New campers MUST provide an evaluation report or report card and an IEP (if they have one) at the time of the application. We will also get feedback from your child’s teacher(s). Once we have received all of the documents, camp staff will contact you. All new campers will meet with camp staff for approximately 20 minutes before acceptance.
Returning campers and current Miriam School K-12 students, contact Gail Porter at 314-961-1500 or email gporter@miriamstl.org to receive a registration link. Please specify your camp/session selection(s) at the time of contact.
Payment/Refund Policy
A $250 deposit per camp is due when a camper is accepted. The remainder of camp fees are due by April 30, 2023, and we provide no refunds after this date. Fees not paid in full may result in the loss of a camper’s placement. Due to small camp ratios, we do not allow switching camps or sessions after April 30.
