The Learning Center’s certified, special education teachers, occupational therapists, speech/language pathologists, counselors, behavior aides, and diagnosticians easily push into schools to support children who may need more assistance than what their school can provide. Services are contracted with the parent and schedules are arranged with the school’s educators to maximize a child’s learning potential. A minimum of 60 minutes is required for an in-school session. The frequency, duration, and type of service are based upon each child’s needs. Children do not need to have a disability to receive push in services.
Many in-school services in St. Louis City are funded through the the Learning Center’s Corporate Sponsors: Stupp Foundation and Cornelsen Family Charitable Foundation.
Several services for students who are residents of St. Louis County are provided through the St. Louis County Children’s Service Fund.
