Finding therapists who really understand ADHD, Autism, learning disabilities, and the co-morbid mental health issues that sometimes accompany these conditions can be difficult. The Center treats hundreds of children each year who have social, emotional, and behavioral issues that impact home, school, and community life. The Learning Center provides individual and family counseling during daytime and evening hours. Our Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy approach is a research-based intervention that works well with many children. Children’s Service Fund Services
MLC can provide FREE mental health services to any qualifying student, age 2-18, through the St. Louis County Children’s Service Fund (CSF), tax dollars set aside for mental health services for St. Louis County residents children or children who attend a St. Louis County private or parochial school. Children must qualify for school-based services. Services are provided on a first come, first served basis, while funding is available. School professionals or parents can refer a child. A waiting list for services may apply.
St. Louis Mental Health Board
St. Louis City residents who attend a preschool or daycare located in St. Louis City, can also receive free mental health services through St. Louis Mental Health Board. Call 314-961-1500 to inquire.
