The Learning Center’s certified, special education teachers provide individual tutoring to improve reading, math, and/or written expression skills for children who learn in non-traditional ways. The Learning Center’s teachers understand the special educational needs of children with ADHD, high functioning Autism, and/or a learning disability. Research-based programs such as SPIRE, TouchMath, Step Up To Writing, and other multi-sensory approaches are used to help students improve academics areas in which they are struggling.
Certified tutors will provide instruction at a child’s school, within the home, or at a Miriam Center location. Daytime, after school and evening hours are available.

A credit card is required and will be charged in advance for any Package service. No services are provided from December 21-January 1st. Hours contracted but not provided on holidays will be made up at a mutually agreed upon time or a credit towards future MLC services will be provided. Because your teacher is assigned to your child on a specific day/time, unfortunately, we are not able to make up sessions cancelled by the family. If there is a COVID-19 exposure in the home, our teachers will provide instruction via Zoom until the risk no longer exists.
