Funded through the generosity of an Autism Speaks grant, children in the St. Louis area who have an Autism Spectrum Disorder, may borrow occupational therapy sensory equipment to use at their school. It is returned at the end of each school year or during the year when the equipment is no longer needed.
Available equipment:
- Hippity-Hops (S,M,L)
- Rebounder trampolines
- Scooters (S,M)
- Step and risers
- Bean bag chairs
- Wedge cushions
- Weighted blankets and weights
- Rotating discs
- Ball chairs (42,55,65 cm)
Equipment must be requested by a teacher, occupational therapist, or other professional involved with the child. Equipment signed out must be returned in similar condition with normal wear or should be replaced by the designated person who signed out the equipment.
