Sue graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Special Education from the University of Tulsa and earned a Master’s degree in Education from the University of Missouri – St. Louis. Sue began volunteering at camps with special need students in high school and turned her passion into a career. She started working for Miriam Learning Center (MLC) in 2014 and has worked as both a special education teacher and school psychological examiner. Currently, Sue is the Testing Coordinator for MLC and supervises the school psychologists/psychological examiners, occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, special education teachers, and licensed clinical social workers. She previously worked for 31 years as a special education teacher and school psychological examiner in St. Louis County. She has a wealth of knowledge with assisting students academically, socially, and emotionally, as well as providing appropriate resources for parents and educators. Sue is happily married and has two wonderful children. When she isn’t putting out fires, she enjoys walking and spending time with her family, friends, and pets.
