Miriam Academy is committed to providing students with not only a top education, but also a fulfilling high school experience.
Miriam Academy builds on the foundation of self-advocacy that Miriam School has begun. Staff will work with school and community partners to offer enrichment and extracurricular activities. These opportunities are shaped by students’ needs and preferences.
After-school clubs at Miriam Academy are an excellent opportunity for students to participate in extracurricular activities according to their interests. Not only do clubs promote social interaction, they also give students the chance to gain leaderships skills.
Student-led clubs meet after school each day. The current clubs are available to students:
Monday – Gaming Club (cards, chess)
Tuesday – Yard Games Club (frisbee, washers)
Wednesday – Arts & Crafts Club
Thursday – Sports Club, Bowling
Friday – Cooking Club, Robotics Club
Miriam Academy has Basketball at the JCC for the winter. Teams are coed for this recreational league. Mr. Norman Rich is the
Games played at BAA Ballwin Athletic Association;Miriam Academy formed its first baseball team in the Ballwin Athletic Association league in the spring of 2017. In 2018, Miriam Academy joined the Missouri State High School Athletic Association to play baseball games against other MSHSAA-affiliate member schools.
