Transition Services

The personalization of services at Miriam is also designed to provide transition services to every K-12 student and their family with the goal of preparing them both academically and socially for life outside of Miriam.

Some families choose to remain as part of the Miriam community for the duration of their child’s education, while others may stay for three to four years to acquire the tools they need to transition into another public, private or parochial school. Families of children in our lower and middle school may consider a transition at a natural point such as 6th grade or after 8th grade. 

Miriam staff work closely with students and their families - and even other schools - to ensure smooth transitions both into and out of Miriam School.
