Miriam School and Learning Center is now offering comprehensive autism evaluations for children ages 2 to 18.
The evaluation uses the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS-2) and many other research-based tests to help diagnose autism and other disorders that can affect learning.
A team of licensed professionals including school psychologists, speech/language pathologists, and clinical social workers, trained by the Thompson Center for Autism and Neurodevelopmental Disorders, combine their expertise to provide parents and schools with a treatment pathway for children who struggle. Testing will allow Miriam’s Missouri Licensed Clinical Social Workers to render a medical diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder for those children who meet criteria.
Testing is located at Miriam’s Webster Groves campus – 501 Bacon Avenue, 63119 – or at the child’s school, as allowed.
Anyone interested should call 314-961-1500 to talk to Anne Ronzio, Miriam testing supervisor.
