Why Miriam
Because not all great minds think alike. Miriam’s goal is to meet each child where they are and provide support that allows them to thrive, both here at Miriam and beyond. We take a strengths-based approach to a truly individualized education.
Whether it’s through experiential learning, therapy services, or life skills development, Miriam sets students up for success – whatever their future may look like.
We believe every student can find success with the right support. Our holistic approach includes personalized education plans, integrated therapies, and focused transition services to prepare students for their next steps, whether it’s college, vocational training, supported employment or independent living.

Personalized Curriculum
Our educators work with students to address their unique social, emotional, physical, and academic needs. We recognize that students learn differently, and our curriculum is designed to meet them where they are.

Integrated Therapies
Speech/language therapy and occupational therapy services are built into the school day, and are designed to complement the learning experience. We ensure each student receives the support they need to thrive.

Transition Services
Comprehensive transition services are integrated into every grade level, ensuring that students are equipped with the tools and knowledge they need to succeed beyond Miriam.

Welcoming Environment
We create a safe, nurturing environment where every student is valued. Our faculty and staff take the time to get to know each student as an individual, understanding their unique needs and strengths.

Outreach Services:
Miriam is also a hub for students and families throughout the community. Miriam Learning Center offers evaluations, tutoring, therapies, and support services for children who may or may not attend our schools.
Meet our Students
We meet the needs of children in the St. Louis area with neurodiverse learning needs, such as: ADHD, level 1 autism, dyslexia, sensory processing challenges, speech/language disorders and anxiety. With low student-to-faculty ratios, multi-grade classrooms and integrated therapies available throughout the day, we create an environment where students feel valued and supported both academically and socially.
