About Us
Miriam is the premier educational hub for children with learning differences in the St. Louis area. We empower unique learners by building confidence and a foundation for success at our K-12 school, as well as through our outreach programs. Our students’ challenges often include specific learning disabilities, ADHD, autism, speech/language disorders, anxiety and sensory processing differences.
Why Miriam?
Because not all great minds think alike. We meet students where they are, taking a strengths-based approach to a truly individualized education.
At Miriam, learning is intentional, collaborative and personalized, designed to meet the unique social, emotional, physical, and academic needs of each student.
Speech/Language and Occupational therapies are built right into each school day and are integrated throughout our curriculum to help the whole child develop and grow.
Miriam’s curriculum is designed to provide transition services to every K-12 student and their family with the goal of preparing them for life outside of Miriam.
Miriam fully embraces each student, celebrating the unique gifts and strengths he/she/they bring to our community and to this world.
Our learning center reaches more than 1,600 unique learners each year through its specialized services and partnerships.
