Miriam provides expert training to professionals and parents. The Miriam Empowers Through Education series brings local and national experts to St. Louis so that people who touch the lives of children with learning challenges can better understand their needs. Seminars are held four evenings during each school year from 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm and are located at Miriam School, 501 Bacon Avenue in Webster Groves, Missouri. One daytime session is held annually on the Friday before President’s Day and is geared towards educators. Workshop availability is subject to attendance and weather conditions.
The cost for each evening session is $30 in advance and $40 at the door. Needs based scholarships are available for families who earn $80,000 or less in annual income. The cost for the half-day session is $79 and includes a continental breakfast. Preregistration is required for this event. This seminar runs from 8:00am-noon.
Participants will receive a certificate of attendance for each seminar attended.
